Three...Is A Magic Number !

Hi Everyone,

I was briefly spoiled yesterday as I watched not just one adoption dolphin - but three! Sundance was in the lead of a group of 12 dolphins that moved through Chanonry at mid-tide but didn't stop to hunt. Rainbow came in really close to me, as you can see in the photo and Nevis had a quick rummage around the current before drifting away with the others over in the direction of Eathie.

There still doesn't seem to be enough salmon running at the moment to make the dolphins stop and hunt properly - I wish the salmon would hurry up, I've a film crew with me next week!

Best Wishes,

Charlie.

    Hi Charlie,

Hope all is good up there with you guys?
SO who's coming to film at the point next week, anyone interesting?
    See you in July!
    Will

    Hi Will,

It's not a BBC film crew, they are from Associated Press as far as I can remember. They'll be doing a bit of filming at the Spey Bay Centre and with me on Thursday morning. It's still a bit early in the season to have dolphins hunting right in at the Point for salmon so I'm a wee bit nervous - on saying that they are prepared to stay doing interviews for quite a long time so hopefully we might get the odd group scooting past.

Hope all is well with you and the family,

    Best Wishes,

    Charlie.

    Hi Sue,

You are certainly coming a long way to see your dolphin - let me know what date you are coming and I can send you a set of tide times to help you narrow down the best times to be watching - I should be at Chanonry as it's my busiest time and would be delighted to point Rainbow out to you if she is around (which she normally is in July).

    Best Wishes,

    Charlie.
